Free Christmas Single (Bob)

Hey folks,

Just to let you all know that our Christmas single is up and available on Soundcloud(http://soundcloud.com/lo-five) and also on LastFM(http://www.last.fm/music/El+Dog/Let+It+Snow).

You can also see the silly video we made for it here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmDNpp_8TYk

Feel free to add it to your Alternative Festive CD or playlist.

Why not drop us a line and tell us what you're up to over the festive holidays.

Stay braw,

Bob :)

Good Press (Bob)

Hey folks,

Just listened to a pre-recorded radio interview on Sunshine radio which only made me wince a wee bit at my drawling Scottish brogue.

It's Sunday night and I'm feeling pretty upbeat as are the other El Dog lads I spoke to today. Got a couple of really nice bits of press about the single in a couple of Scottish Newspapers this weekend which is very cool.

Had a very cool day yesterday even though I spent most of it with my T-Shirt on inside out before I realised. Nice one!

Rehearsing again soon and hopefully get some more of the new material finished and figure out what our next recordings will be.

Keep it angular,

Bob x

Chicken Soup and Radio Waffle (Bob)

So the roast chicken went pretty well. Not quite the flavours I was going for (too much high end, if that makes sense)

I've since made a stock from the roast chicken left overs, made and devoured one of the best soups I've had in my entire life. (5 meals out of one Chicken. Good going)

Anyway, enough banter about stuff I've cooked.

Life has been good in the El Dog camp. We had a rehearsal on Monday which was really good. The new material is starting to really take shape and is stupid amounts of fun to play.

Also had a couple of Radio interviews to promote the single this week which is always an interesting experience. It's hard not to talk absolute rubbish when it's what you're good at. Just look at the start of this post for example!! A big thanks to the stations that have taken the time to talk to us. It's been cool.

This blog goes up on Tumblr. Still not sure what that's about. Anyone got any hints?

Stay frosty (in this weather it's likely)

Sunday Night Roasting a Chicken (Bob)

Hello folks,

So it's Sunday night and so far I've had a very relaxed day.

Currently in the process of roasting a chicken. To make things a bit more exciting I've stuff Garlic and Chilli into the skin. Ooooh! Exciting stuff, I hear you proclaim.

Other than the Christmas single(out on December 7th) things have been fairly quiet on the El Dog front. We're getting together this week to have our first rehearsal in over a month. It's been a busy old time for us but hopefully we can get stuck into some new recordings and gigs in the coming year.

That's all for now,

Bob x
